In previous years, the brand removed bromate, bleached flour, azodicarbonamide (ADA), SSL & CSL, and partially hydrogenated oils (PHOs) from all breads. In addition to eliminating artificial preservatives, colors and flavors, Arnold®, Brownberry® and Oroweat® has also removed monoglycerides, Diacetyl Tartaric Acid Esters of Monoglycerides (DATEM) and high-fructose corn syrup from its Whole Grain line, which includes Oatnut, 100% Whole Wheat, 12 Grain, Healthy Multi-Grain and Health Nut. The brand recently refined its recipes to meet consumer demand for the breads they know and love, but with simple, easy-to-recognize ingredients. Arnold®, Brownberry® and Oroweat® Bread, makers of nutritious and delicious premium bread, announced today the removal of all artificial preservatives, colors and flavors from its Whole Grain line as part its new “No Added Nonsense” initiative that begins this week nationwide. ![]()
